the push
the push
the push is a trio that began work on their most recent musical endeavor in January of 2006. The tentative title for the album is loss lest limitation. the push is Mariellen Cressman (vocals/guitar/drums), Alan Wasielewski (guitars/vocals), and Leon Wasielewski (bass). The trio has performed under other names, including: three imaginary boys and holiday from reality. Under three imaginary boys, the trio created the ep entitled songs from outer space (1996). Alan and Mariellen also collaborated under the name the project and created the ep entitled special (1996). After recording several tracks in 1997, the trio took an extended hiatus. Meanwhile, Alan and Leon began work on a still -in- production album, and Leon joined the band The Houselights (Fake Chapter Records).
The trio's last public appearance was in March 2006, to benefit the annual Transgender Health Conference in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. More public appearances anticipated in late 2007/early 2008.
